Airluminate

Airluminate is an iPhone and iPod Touch application which allows you to use your device as a glowing light that changes with every twist and turn you make. Light up the air with any colour under the rainbow by just rotating and tilting your device around or use the settings page to manually set the colours to what ever you want. Airluminate was initially intended as a dynamic light for use in long exposure photographs & for lighting close up scenes with custom colors, but you can use it for what ever you want. Perhaps you want a glow stick for when you go clubbing or to a rave or maybe just as a mood light to chill out too. If you can think of a use then Airluminate will do it's bit!

Features:
Full auto settings to react to every movement & allow changes to which direction affects which colour.
Full Manual settings to set fixed colours.
Combine auto & manual for semi-auto colours
A range of shaped masks to change the main screen's shape.
Manual sensitivity settings to change how hard you have to move to get the full colours.
Manually set the refresh speed of the colours from 1/sec to 80/sec.
Smoothing of the reactions to your movements by up to 5 %.

4 Examples of Usage

Above you can see 4 examples of Airluminate in use. In the first example Airluminate is used as an uplight under a glass to give a gentle glow using manual settings to get just the right colour. In the other 3 examples the lighting is set to automatic to vary with the device's rotation and a refresh rate of 1/30th sec for smooth transtition. The first of the three is using the stepped circle filter, the second uses a star filter and the third the spiral. For more examples of Airluminate in action please visit the Flickr group.
