Another month has passed and last Thursday saw another fantastic doodle planet. Doodle planet is all about chilling out, with a beer or two and having a bit of a doodle. It takes place the last Thursday of most months in Telford’s warehouse, Chester.

The setup this month was great as usual, but with an extra addition… light painting. Having never had a go of light painting before I was of course rubbish at it but it was great to have a go. If you happen to be in the area for the next event, and fancy having a relaxing & creative evening, then I really suggest coming along and joining in.

Week 6 of 52 Designs is here which means we are over 10% the way through the year! 52 Designs is about creating a design a week and now has 15 artists involved with and ever increasing number of designs.

Wow can you believe it’s week 4 already! The 52 Designs Flickr group [ http://www.flickr.com/groups/52designs/ ] already has loads of images and people involved making some brilliant images. I’m looking forward to another great week.

In case you missed it, 52 Designs is a creative project to create a new design every week. Anything goes as a design so you can doodle, scribble, paint, scuplt, 3dModel. Just get creative and share the results.

A fun project for 2010. The aim is to create 1 design a week, every week of the year, resulting in 52 images. The term design is a very loose one for this project so the design can be on anything, paper, canvas, digital and can be anything from a doodle or illustration to a painting or sculpture (not very likely). The weekly deadline is the Thursday of each week.
